Alfons Matthys

Alfons Matthys is geboren te Lokeren op 23 april 1938. Alfons is afgestudeerd in 1958 als Technisch Ingenieur en later assimilatie van zijn diploma met het diploma van Industrieel Ingenieur in de Mechanica. Alfons woonde ten tijde van WOII met de familie, vader Jules Matthys (NG44935) en moeder en oudere broer René, in Lokeren. Alfons is gedurende 38 jaar in dienst geweest van de firma Vynckier in Gent. Alfons is in 1960 in Lokeren gehuwd met Christiane Van de Velde en is vader van 3 kinderen; grootvader van 14 kleinkinderen en overgrootvader van 6 achterkleinkinderen. Alfons heeft al ongeveer 50 jaar als “hobby” Genealogie en het aanmaken van zijn Familiestamboom “Familie Matthys”.
